Nabil Bank is proud to be associated with Fonepay to introduce NABIL QR CODE in Nepal. Nabil QR enables contactless digital payment through the means of scanning the available QR code through mobile app.
With use of Nabil QR, merchants can now receive payments instantly to their bank accounts subsequent to the scan transaction performed by the customer. This is one of the major digital initiative by Nabil Bank to ensure the progress of digital transactions all over Nepal.
Any customer’s having Fonepay enabled mobile banking/digital wallets can now scan the Nabil QR to make payments to the merchants. With presence of over 13 million users and 50 plus partners bank’s mobile/inter-banking systems and digital wallets, virtually everyone in Nepal can now make payments via Nabil QR.

The settlement of the merchant’s payment is done automatically to their bank account on daily basis.
Merchant can settle the payment manually as well which can be instant.
If the merchant have many outlets then merchant shall request Bank to register each outlet as sub-merchant by providing the name and phone number of the person at Point of sale.
It can generally take 2-3 working days for the dispute to be resolved, however, it also depends on details, supporting document/evidence bank receive from merchant/customer.
A merchant with all necessary required documents can be enrolled within the span of 2-3 working days.
With the use of the Fonepay merchant app/web portal, the merchant can track the payments on real time basis.
